PRINCE OF PEACE WORSHIP TEAMS

Welcome to the worship teams at Prince of Peace.  We are a group of people who love to sing and play, live to worship, and are committed to making Jesus famous in our culture.  By His hands we were created for this time and called to this place... to worship Him and expand His Kingdom in this generation.  Week in and week out, you’ll see us leading worship at Prince of Peace and in our community with our voices, our hearts... and sometimes our hands raised high, to edify Jesus, who is worthy of our everything.  We love being a community of worshippers and worship leaders.

VOCAL ENSEMBLE

The Vocal Ensemble is a group of worship leaders and vocalists who rehearse and sing on a regular basis for all weekend worship services, special worship services throughout the year, and community events.  Singing is a huge part of our worship services at Prince of Peace and this group is responsible for helping to bring the gift of music and song to life at each service and event.

 

THE BAND

The band at Prince of Peace is a group of instrumentalists who rehearse and fascilitate worship on a regular basis for all weekend worship services, special worship services throughout the year, and community events. The band is not about performing or entertaining, rather the band is focused on the presence of God where two or more are gathered and seeing His transformitive power in the lives of everyday people.  

 

THE ORCHESTRA

The Orchestra is a group that rehearses together and leads worship on a bi-weekly basis as part of the 8am worship service at Prince of Peace.  Because of the nature of this ensemble, the Orchestra is open to anyone with a minimum of three years of experience playing their instrument as part of an ensemble.   

 

THE BELLS OF PRAISE

The Bells of Praise is a group that rehearses together and leads worship as part of the 8am worship service, at special worship services throughout the year, and community events.  Under the direction of Chuck Intravaia, this is an open group for anyone who would like to participate with basic music reading ability.     

 

CHILDREN'S PRAISE

Children’s Praise is a group for kids from first to fifth grade.  Under the direction of Ms. Robbie Payne, this ensemble rehearses on a weekly basis and participates in worship on a monthly basis as well as special services throughout the year.  

 

PRODUCTION

The production teams seeks to creatively and effectively enhance the worship experiences at Prince of Peace through high quality media and technical support.  This team is comprised of volunteers (both experienced and in-experienced) who serve as camera operators, sound engineers, lighting and projection technicians, and stage crew. They work together to ensure that all media and technical elements are carried out with excellence.
